It said ashwagandha on the front. It didn’t say 120 mg on the back.

A men’s nutrition brand from Prakhar Gupta & Honasa.

Most supplements carry the right ingredients at the wrong amounts. We put every active in at the dose the human trials actually used, and print all of it — and if we can’t hit the studied dose, the ingredient doesn’t go in.

The problem

The ingredient is real. The amount is decorative.

The ashwagandha trials that showed a measurable stress effect used 600 mg of a standardised extract. Plenty of products carry a fraction of that and still print ashwagandha on the front of the pack, in the same size type.

We read the back of 31 Indian sleep and magnesium products. Fifteen of them don’t disclose a dose for at least one ingredient named on the front. One lists eight actives and publishes a single number. At that point you’re not taking a supplement. You’re taking a suggestion.

From source to sachet

Where each active actually comes from.

Not “premium blend”. The country, the supplier and the grade for every branded active — so you can look each one up before you order a thing.

India
KSM-66® ashwagandha
Ixoreal’s full-spectrum root extract — the grade used in the majority of published ashwagandha trials for stress and sleep.
Germany
Creapure® creatine
Alzchem’s reference-grade monohydrate, tested for impurities on every single batch it ships.
Japan
Suntheanine® L-theanine
Taiyo’s enzymatically-made, single-isomer L-theanine — not the cheaper racemic mix.
India
BioPerine® piperine
Sabinsa’s standardised black-pepper extract — the studied 5 mg that helps the other actives absorb.
USA
Branded chelated magnesium
Albion/TRAACS-type fully-reacted bisglycinate at over 90% chelation — an elemental yield you can verify, not an oxide blend.

The dose, next to where it came from

Every number on our pack has a study behind it.

This is the whole product argument, so it’s printed rather than linked. Compare it against whatever is in your cupboard right now — that comparison is the only one that matters.

ActiveOur doseThe dose the research used
Ashwagandha, standardised600 mg600 mg daily in the trials most often cited for stress and sleep quality
Magnesium, chelated200 mg elementalTrials typically run at 200–400 mg elemental; note most Indian labels print the compound weight, not the elemental
L-theanine200 mg/day (100 AM + 100 PM)100–200 mg is the range used in the alpha-wave and subjective-relaxation work
Creatine monohydrate3 g5 g with a loading phase is the classic protocol; 3 g daily reaches the same saturation in about four weeks
Glycine3 g3 g before bed is the dose used in the sleep-onset studies
Every dose above is the amount in one daily pack, printed on the label so you can check it yourself.

Why you should believe it

Three things you can check.

The dose next to the study
For every active, the amount we use and the research it comes from. Printed on the pack, not hidden behind a QR code.
Nothing undisclosed
No proprietary blends. If it’s named on the front, the milligrams are on the back. All of them.
Five doctors sign the claims
A medical board with a hard veto on the formulation and on every claim we make.
How it works

One in the morning. One before bed.

1·AM, with breakfast
Tear, stir into 200 ml of water, drink. Contains 100 mg of caffeine, so keep it to the morning.
1·PM, about an hour before bed
Same again, in water. No caffeine in this one.
Then give it four weeks
Creatine reaches muscle saturation at 3 g a day in roughly four weeks without a loading phase, so the full daily dose is not fully on board before then. We’d rather tell you that than sell you a first-week transformation.

Prakhar Gupta, founder of ALFAA

“I kept reading labels that named an ingredient and hid the amount. So we printed every number — and left out anything we couldn’t dose properly.”

ALFAA is named for the alpha brainwave — the 8–12 Hz calm-alert state you think your best in. L-theanine, which raises it, sits in both sachets. It’s the state I spend my life trying to work in, so it’s the one thing I wanted the whole product built around.

Questions

The ones worth answering.

What does 600 mg actually mean?+
It means the amount of ashwagandha extract in one night sachet is the same as the amount used in the studies people cite when they talk about ashwagandha. A product with 120 mg isn’t a weaker version of the same thing — it’s a quantity nobody has tested for that purpose.
How long before the full dose is on board?+
Most of the actives are at their full amount from the first sachet. Creatine is the exception: at 3 g a day without a loading phase, muscle stores fill up over roughly four weeks. We can’t tell you what you’ll notice or when — nobody honestly can. What we can tell you is exactly what is in it and how much.
Two sachets a day — is that a lot?+
One in the morning in water, one about an hour before bed. Both dissolve in a glass. That’s the whole routine.
Can I take it with coffee?+
The morning sachet already contains 100 mg of caffeine, roughly one cup. If you also drink coffee, keep an eye on the total. The night sachet has no caffeine.
Is it safe to take every day?+
Yes — the daily sachets are formulated for daily use at the doses printed on the pack. If you are on prescription medication, pregnant, or under 18, speak to your doctor first.
How do delivery and cancellation work?+
Your two sachets arrive once a month with free delivery across India. It’s a subscription by default, but you can skip a month or cancel anytime from your account — no lock-in, and the first month is refundable.
